We're thrilled to bring you some fantastic news that we know many of you have been eagerly anticipating! Our latest app update is packed with new features designed to enhance your interaction with Apple TV and Mac like never before. Let's dive into what's new and how these updates can transform your daily tech interactions into something truly magical.
Effortless Mac Scrolling with Reverse Pinch & Slide
Controlling your Mac with Air-touch has been available and used by our users for some time now. However, we're excited to unveil a new game-changing way to scroll on your Mac—introducing the Reverse Pinch & Slide gesture. This new feature allows you to effortlessly browse through content, enhancing your productivity and overall computing experience. Whether you're navigating lengthy documents or browsing the web, this smooth, gesture-based scrolling makes it easier than ever.
This new gesture comes as an addition to the already existing gestures used for Air-Touch control. With this addition, we put an emphasis on enhancing the user experience of controlling the Mac, and added the option to customize the speed of the pointer movement and scrolling speed for a smoother navigation experience.
How to Use: For a quick setup, visit the Learning Center in your app and tap on User Guides > Mac.
Touchless Apple TV Control
In the new app update, we’ve added an exciting addition to the Mudra neural control repertoire: seamless control of your Apple TV using gestures.
Until now, our users have effortlessly controlled their Apple devices, including iPhones, Macs, and iPads, with intuitive hand gestures. We've listened to your feedback and understand that you've been eagerly awaiting this next step. We're excited to announce that, with our latest update, you can now extend this touchless convenience to your Apple TV. Experience the freedom of navigating your Apple TV without the need for a remote, using Mudra’s revolutionary Air-Touch technology. Simply gesture your way through your favorite shows, scrub through videos, play games, or explore new content—all with your Mudra Band.
While your iPhone, Mac computer and iPad can be controlled using a pointing device functionality of point, click, and drag & drop, your Apple TV does not have a cursor. Instead, it’s like a trackpad.
When controlling your Apple TV, you will notice an item is highlighted. This is the item you are currently viewing, and to select it simply tap your fingers to select. If you want to reach a different application or button, you must pinch and hold, and scroll to the sides, or up and down to reach your desired item. This is just like clicking right, left, up or down on the Apple TV remote.
Firmware Update
To enhance your experience, we've released a new Firmware Update, focusing on improving the smoothness, responsiveness, speed, and stability of your Mudra Band. This update isn't just routine maintenance; it's a substantial upgrade, transforming your interaction with your devices.
With this firmware, you'll notice more accurate gesture recognition, reduced latency, and smoother operation, making your interactions with devices like Apple TV and Mac feel instantaneous and fluid. We've also enhanced stability, ensuring reliable performance across all your connected Apple devices.
Update Now: You should receive a pop-up message prompting you to update to the latest firmware version. Otherwise, go to your Mudra Band iPhone app, click the top bar and scroll down to “Firmware Details”. If an update is available, an Update button will be visible at the very bottom of the screen.
